Why self-care is better when it’s shared
February is often framed around romantic love, but some of the most meaningful relationships in our lives aren’t romantic at all. Female friendships — the ones that carry us through motherhood, career shifts, aging parents, body changes, and personal reinvention — deserve just as much celebration. Friendship and self-care are the life line that get us through the challenges we face every day.
That’s what Galentine’s Day gets right. It honors the women who show up, listen without judgment, laugh with us, and remind us who we are when life gets loud. These relationships aren’t frivolous or secondary. They are foundational.
In my practice, I see this every day. Women don’t come in just to “look better.” They come in after life transitions. After children. After divorce. After illness. After loss. After years of putting themselves last. Often, they come with a friend — and something shifts the moment they walk in together.
Friendship and self-care thrives in community
There’s something powerful about caring for yourself alongside someone who knows you well. A friend can normalize your concerns, reflect your strengths back to you, and help quiet the internal voice that says you don’t deserve time, attention, or care.
Self-care isn’t indulgent. It’s not about chasing youth or perfection. At its best, it’s about alignment — feeling comfortable in your skin, trusting your body, and honoring yourself in the same way you so easily care for others.
When women support each other in this way, self-care becomes less about comparison and more about confidence.
A softer approach to aesthetic care
Aesthetic treatments, from injections to surgery, when done thoughtfully, should enhance — not distract. My goal has always been to help women look refreshed, rested, and like themselves. Not overdone. Not obvious. Just supported.
That philosophy mirrors strong female friendships. The best ones don’t try to change you. They help you feel more like you.
February Galentine’s Specials
To celebrate Galentine’s Day and the power of doing self-care together, we’re offering a few limited-time February specials:
Complimentary lip flip with the purchase of one syringe of lip filler
15% off Botox and filler treatments
BOGO 50% off consultation fees when you book with a friend
Whether you’re coming in together or simply using this month as a reminder to prioritize yourself, these offerings are meant to make thoughtful care more accessible — and a little more fun.
A reminder worth keeping
The women who walk beside you matter. So do you.
If February is your reminder to reconnect, reset, or simply take a small step toward caring for yourself, I’d be honored to be part of that journey. Self-care doesn’t have to be dramatic or drastic. Sometimes it starts with a conversation — and sometimes, it starts with bringing a friend.
